Growing Big Bud is a fairly easy process, so here is a simple outline for the general steps.
Time needed: 150 days
Step by step process for growing Big Bud Feminized
- Germination
Use the paper towel method
- Seedling
Transfer the seedling into its pot
- Hydroponics
If you have the equipment, Big Bud thrives in a hydro setup, but she does well in soil, too
- Vegetative
As Big Bud goes through its veg stage, this is where you do any training that’s necessary. Bud thrives in a Sea of Green setup if you are growing multiple plants indoors, which basically involves placing the plants close enough together that they form a solid canopy
- Monitor Temps
Keep an eye on the temperature and make sure to keep it warm, Big Bud doesn’t like it cool
- Topping
If you have limited vertical space, you’ll want to perform topping during the veg stage
- Pruning
Heavy foliage needs to be trimmed to allow proper airflow, which helps defeat moisture related issues
- Support
Before she hits the flowering phase, you will probably need to provide support for the branches to prevent breakage. A trellis, net, or stakes will do the trick, just use good gardening practices
- Flower
Once she starts budding, expect this period to last from seven to nine weeks
- Inspect
Use your grooming and watering time to inspect for pests, mold, or other problems
- Harvest
When your trichomes turn milky, its time to chop
- Dry
In a low humidity setting, hang your plant upside down until they dry properly
- Cure
Cut off your buds and place them into airtight jars, hopefully with humidity packs to control the moisture
